One of Liverpool's most prestigious buildings.
The contract consisted of four French pavilion roofs, each being covered with 18 tons of lead, plus the renewal of all the linking roofs and a large first floor roof in the centre of the building as a light well to the ground floor public areas.
160 tons of milled lead were used on this project
The architects on the project were the City of Liverpool Architects Department, who sought our advice in resolving detailed design problems
